Hello Everyone,
It has been almost eleven months since HouseOfMuscle.com announced our sponsorship of bodybuilder Ethan Pendry on 11-19-13.
At that time his goal was to earn a top five finish at The National Physique Committee (NPC) Jay Cutler Classic Bodybuilding Competition (National Qualifier) in Baltimore, MD USA on 11-02-14.
Well, after training for this one specific goal, for almost eleven months, it is only four weeks until "showtime".
Ethan has been on an incredible journey and it has been a honor to help support his efforts to achieve his goal. Here at The House Where Muscle Is Built everyone is very excited for Ethan to perform his best at his upcoming show. We appreciate all of you who have followed along with Ethan's journey.
We also hope that you were able to gain valuable insight into how a highly competitive physique athlete goes about preparing for a competition. We also hope that this insight has helped educate and motivate you as you attempt to achieve your own personal body transformation.
Since Ethan is only four short weeks away from hitting the stage, he has been working very hard to nail down every last detail of his diet and training. Ethan wants to be at his very best when he hits the stage on November 2nd.
As Ethan continues to push for a top five finish at his show, he has been tweaking his supplement and diet regimen, along with his training every step of the way.
With only four short weeks until "showtime", Ethan is 110% focused on his goal. The House Of Muscle line of sports nutrition supplements have been a huge help to Ethan as he attempts to bring his absolute best physique on "game day". Let's get into some of the nitty-gritty of what Ethan is doing to finish out his preparation.
Ethan has made some very recent adjustments to his training, his diet and his supplementation choices.
1. Ethan's Diet has changed to reduce carbohydrates and help him drop the last of his remaining unwanted body fat. He eats like this day in and day out to maximize his muscle retention and help his body burn as much fat as possible.
2. Ethan is training with high reps to ramp up his metabolism.
3. Ethan has really enjoyed using the House Of Muscle line of sports nutrition supplements throughout his contest preparation. He is particularly fond of Recovery Orange and Tribulus Terrestris.
It goes without saying, Ethan has improved dramatically! Just take a look at the pictures. If any of you have trained for a bodybuilding show, you know that, when in this much of a caloric deficit, energy is hard to come by. Ethan has told us that he is training extremely hard and pushing his body to the ultimate limit, but admits his energy level is lower. When a person is carrying such a low percentage of body fat, it is common to feel drained. Ethan has reported that the House Of Muscle pre-workout supplement Shock To The System has really helped fuel his workouts, even when his energy level is low due to his caloric deficit diet.
The type of hardcore training and dieting Ethan is doing isn't for everybody. But, Ethan is not like everybody else. He is highly motivated to succeed. He is like many of you, fellow members of The House Where Muscle Is Built, who share a similar drive and desire to improve yourself and become more than you were before.
At this point of Ethan's preparation his will to succeed is being tested. It is gut check time -- put up or shut up, it is that simple. Ethan needs to finish strong and produce a "dialed in", peak performance. By getting to know Ethan, during this incredible journey he has been on, we are confident that Ethan is going to have a great performance at his show.
At "showtime", on November 2nd, fellow members of The House Where Muscle Is Built will be with Ethan in spirit and HouseOfMuscle.com is actually going to physically be In The House.
A booth representing HouseOfMuscle.com and the House Of Muscle line of sports nutrition supplements will be set up at The National Physique Committee (NPC) Jay Cutler Classic Bodybuilding Competition (National Qualifier) in Baltimore, MD USA on 11-02-14. If you are in the Baltimore area on November 2nd, come and visit us and help us cheer Ethan on.
We truly hope that you can use the insight and inspiration Ethan provides to help fuel your own journey of self-discovery, improvement and transformation.
